SmartBoater.ca has been created by the Canadian Safe Boating Council, an alliance of members committed to promoting safe and responsible boating.

The SmartBoater.ca web site is a one stop place for recreational boaters, the media and boating educators to obtain information about safe and responsible boating in an informative, educational and relevant way. The information the site has come from two sources: original material created for the site by the CSBC and from the partnerships involved with SmartBoater.ca including National Search and Rescue Secretariat .  We thank them all for their support and encourage you to visit them on our contributors page.
